Professional Background

Dr. Teo Pock Chin is a distinguished orthopaedic surgeon who has dedicated more than 15 years to his medical career. He completed four years of orthopaedic specialist training, including two years across various subspecialties at Hospital Kuala Lumpur and Hospital UKM.

He has been trained in advanced trauma, spine, joint reconstruction, sports injury, paediatric orthopaedics, orthopaedic oncology, hand and microsurgery, and foot and ankle surgery in Kuala Lumpur. He provides exceptional care as an integral surgeon of the orthopaedic and trauma department at Hospital Sultan Ismail, Johor Bahru.

He has gained additional training and experience in arthroscopies and joint replacement surgeries for osteoarthritis in France, Thailand and Singapore. Dr. Teo has a special interest in minimally invasive ultrasound-guided orthopaedic regenerative therapy and pain intervention, with ultrasound-guided skills developed in Taiwan and Korea.
