Professional Background

Dr. Shashank Raghu is a highly skilled paediatric orthopaedic surgeon based in Malaysia, with a passion for advancing paediatric orthopaedics in the country. Alongside paediatric care, he actively manages general orthopaedic and trauma cases.

He began at Hospital Raja Permaisuri Bainun as house officer (2008–2010) and Medical Officer in Orthopaedics (2010–2014), then completed his Master's in Orthopaedic Surgery at Hospital Universiti Sains Malaysia (2014–2018).

Since 2018 he has held roles at Hospital Raja Permaisuri Bainun, Hospital Tengku Ampuan Afzan, and Hospital Pulau Pinang. In 2023 he completed a fellowship in Paediatric Orthopaedics at Queen Sirikit National Institute of Child Health, Bangkok.

Today he serves as paediatric orthopaedic surgeon at Hospital Raja Permaisuri Bainun and as sessional consultant at Hospital Fatimah, with visiting work at Hospital Teluk Intan, Hospital Sultan Ismail, Hospital Manjung and Hospital Taiping.
