Professional Background

Dr. Ng Chung Kia is a consultant orthopaedic surgeon with more than 10 years of experience. He completed his medical training with the Faculty of Medicine, International Medical University (IMU) in 2010.

He has vast clinical experience serving in regional hospitals including Hospital Seberang Jaya, Hospital Sultan Ismail and University Hospital of Malaya. He completed four years of training in various subspecialities in the Department of Orthopaedics, including advanced trauma, spine, joint reconstruction, sports injury, paediatric orthopaedics, orthopaedic oncology, hand and microsurgery, and foot and ankle surgery.

Dr. Ng is currently a specialist in orthopaedics at Hospital Sultan Ismail in Johor Bahru. His practice interests include interventional pain treatment, arthroscopic sports surgery, and knee and hip replacement surgery. He has published in various international medical journals.
